Dear MUSD Families,
This is Superintendent, Heidi Moore-Guynup.
I know we all share frustration relative to the planned power outages that don’t follow the plan. We appreciate your continued understanding. We are relying on information provided by the Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Management. Again, there are several reasons for our school closures including lack of phone service, inoperable fire alarms (limited battery back-up), ability to serve food, cleanliness of our facilities, cold dark classrooms and bathrooms and more. The Fire Department has advised us to remain closed during power outages.
